This photograph shows the 10,107 feet tall granite rock formation known as The Thumb rising high in the background. The photograph was captured from within the Transition life zone in the upper foothills of the Sandia Mountains near Albuquerque, New Mexico.
About Aaron Burrows
I am an amateur photographer who focuses mostly on landscape, wildlife, flora and weather photography. I have a great love for the outdoors, particularly forest and mountain ecosystems.
